First we would like to say Welcome and thankyou for taking time to consider Bodylines Fitness job opportunities.
If you are looking for a career in the fitness industry as a trainer or even become an owner of a franchise we would like to speak with you. Bodylines Fitness offers the trainer who is serious about making a career for themselves the opportunity to make 50K to 70K a year and work 25 hours per week. If you have the desire to grow into ownership then 100k plus will be easily attainable and more.
This is the good news. The bad news is you have to be willing to market yourself. We can teach you how to market yourself, and where to go, but it is up to you to actually get it done. This is where 90% of trainers fall short and end up working for places like 24 hour fitness. You have to be willing to motivate yourself enough to spend 5 hours or more per week to build up your business. This is something we cannot stress enough. Motivation is the difference between making a career as a trainer and making 20k a year full time at the gym down the street.
If you are motivated, regardless if you are outgoing or shy then we can create the marketing plan that will work for you. We will provide the equipment, plan, all training necessary, and positive atmosphere. You provide:
1) Personal integrity. To be a "Pro" Trainer you must listen, be patient, have the ability to empathize, and be RELIABLE! Clients are paying several hundred dollars a month to work with you, show them you're worth it, then go beyond that.
2) Certifications, and degrees don't mean squat in this industry (not in the real world). And they won't for several more years until their is some consensus as a baseline for standards. And even that won't matter because weight training is a personal challenge for each individual (standards does not equate to individuality), and it is your job to have all your clients learn that for themselves. What Bodylines Fitness requires is either an open mind to learn, or experience. Experience is what really matters in this business just like most others. We will show you why.
3) We seek people who are honest and have integrity. They have the ability to listen and are open to learning more about their profession. We also seek trainers who are extremely fit. The reality is this industry is all about how you look. Do you look fit? Or do you look really FIT!! Chances are if you fall into the second category you can make a career of it. Of course their are exceptions, but not really. How can you teach a male client to squat 300 lbs when you cannot do it yourself? Or for women same goes with a decline reverse crunch for 3 sets of 20 with weights. Take your fitness seriously and with all your other skills your schedule will be full.
4) Enjoy life! Your life is a reflection of the energy you put fourth. Think of yourself as a magnet. What is drawn to you and your life experience is part of a powerful unseen force that goes on regardless if you are aware of it or not. Become aware, think and create the life you want and the people you want to be around. Iron Sharpens Iron!
This is some of the criteria we require before inviting trainers to become part of our fitness movement. We specialize in real fitness, no gimmicks, games, or hassles. Our clients both male and female do the "classic" exercises like cleans, standing barbell presses, squats. And newer extremely advanced training like the Tabata method and Poliquin principles. If you would enjoy being part of something that will bring fitness back to what it really is work; but very enjoyable with lot's of commeraderie. Then contact us, and let's get serious.
